Superpowers

In my opinion between u.s.s.r and u.s.a i am on the side of u.s.a because soviet union are backstabber. i dont even like backstabbers as my friends so why go for a goverment i mean thats just stupid. i know we wanted to control everybody but we also helped alot of people with troops, money, and weapons and what has soviet union done for people nothing. im a very giving and helpful person and i would rather go for a goverment that is like me. another reason why im for u.s.a is because of politics nationalism strengthened the Civil Rights movement. to me i think civil rights movments were very important because i think everybody should be treated equaly not judged by there skin color or anything else that is out of normalcy

U.S.A's role in the cold war

in my opinion i think u.s.a played a very big role in the cold war because we supported other nations by sending troops and sending weapons for other nations as long as they stayed nationalist and not communist. if we wouldnt have help out the other nations who know's where or who they would be today. but the main goal for u.s.a was to support other nations and to stop the spread of communist and their main goal's were accomplished

The Dominio Theroy is when the Soviet Union was trying to spread Communism( A theoretical economic system characterized by the collective ownership of property and by the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members).

President Obama and Russia's treaty

Barack Obama, and Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian leader, Thursday 8 April signed an arms treaty that will slash their respective nuclear arsenals by a third. Obama said the new agreement made the US and the world more secure and helped stopped the drift in US-Russia relations. The new treaty will cut American and Russian strategic nuclear warheads to 1,550 over seven years, about a third less than the 2,200 currently allowed.
